Samantha Alphonso
Dufferin King Academy
Samantha Alphonso is a homeschooling mother of four who has been guiding her children’s education since 2017. Before making the shift to homeschooling, her two eldest children attended Catholic school—giving her a well-rounded perspective on both traditional and alternative education.
Samantha holds a BA and MA in Anthropology, and spent several years working as a birth doula and doula trainer, offering compassionate support to expectant families in her community.
Today, she is the Headmistress and owner of Dufferin King Academy of Outdoor Learning (DKA)—a nature-based school designed specifically for homeschoolers.
